What is Exercise Physiology?
AN exercise physiologist is a health professional who analyses people health and fitness to help increase their Health. Exercise Physiologists can help patients with heart disease and other chronic conditions, like diabetes or pulmonary (lung) disease, to regain their weightloss / gain targets, strength, power, cardiovascular fitness, and overall health.
How does exercise physiology work?
Through exercise they help patients get fitter for all around good health, or to treat patients with a medical condition through exercise. They can prescribe a course of exercises for either fitness or rehabilitation

Exercise physiologists help make you a programme so that you can get the most out of your exercise. The can help set you a time frame and goals, then help you achieve those goals.
What will an exercise physiologist do?
The exercise physiologist will take a history of your medical health, injury / problem, and outlines your goals and aims.. They will then do an assessment to decide on the best type of exercise therapy to suit you, your level of health and your lifestyle. A treatment plan shall then be built around your currently fitness levels. These will then be monitored over the coming sessions. If any referral is needed then you shall be advised.
